The Big Event
January 20th, 2009Today is the day when history will be made. For the first time an African American will be inaugurated as the President of the United States of America. Despite the political unrest and economic woes of the world, there can be no doubt that most people will take some part, however small, in this event.
Associates of ours are in Washington, and they have created a blog to highlight their experiences and keep a record of the events as they unfold. It also contains some other interesting an informative content.

Girard Perregaux has been at the forefront of haute horology for a very long time, and the tradition continues with their current collection of time pieces. We particularly like this piece as it has been developed with fund raising in mind. Girard Perregaux has collaborated with the American Nicaraguan Foundation (ANF) to develop this wonderful perpetual calendar chronograph, horology with a social conscience.... |

Panerai has maintained its resurgence and is as popular as ever. We were invited to the launch of their new movements last year, and it was a very worthwhile evening. These Ferrari pieces are very distinctive watches, with bold lines and some very nice touches, we love the red on the inside of the strap. As with the Ferrari Girard Perregaux pieces, they are presented in red boxes and have the Ferrari logo on the reverse of the case. A very nice watch indeed, which unfortunately was not delivered by Father Christmas. |
