Watch Of The Week IWC
February 4th, 2009

Launched in 1985 (Yes that's 1985), the Da Vinci (Ref. 3750) shocked the watch world. Here was a perpetual calendar chronograph, with a century display all adjusted through the crown. Amazingly it was also approximately half the price of its nearest competitor! At the time it had the most accurate moon phase and has gone on to become the most widely sold perpetual calibre in history. Add to this an iconic design that never seems to age and you have an absolutely wonderful watch. IWC |
As you probably guessed, I have one in my collection, and every new years eve it can be found on my wrist.....
