To put this in perspective, the previous most complicated wristwatch (Patek Philippes Sky Moon Tourbillon) featured 686 parts with 12 complications. Like Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantins masterpiece requires two faces to display all of its complications. The technical specifications of this piece are mind boggling, as well as the standard time keeping functions this watch has a minute repeater, Tourbillon, Power Reserve, second time zone, moon phase, age of the moon, striking mechanism torque, perpetual calendar, equation of time, sunrise and sunset indicators and a sky chart.
A true masterpiece and a fitting commemoration for a business that has been in continuous operation for over 250 years....
